Fostering again or reintroducing Mikah to Sophie?
So for those who don't know. Mikah is my cat and Sophie is a mommy cat who I'm fostering. I also am fostering Sophie's 5 babies. (now 5 weeks old)
I had a really bad experience introducing them.. Things were going normal at first (Mikah hissing and sniffing the cage) but I thought that wasn't how it was supposed to be and I scolded Mikah.. When really I guess I shouldn't have..
During the first week Sophie attacked Mikah because of Mikahs constant hissing.. Mikah was hissing and made a sudden movement to jump onto my bed away from Sophie, but the movment starteld Sophie and she attacked my Mikah.
I have not let them in the same room since then.. It's probably been 3-4 weeks since that happened. Whenever Mikah walks by the room from the hallway (door shut) Sophie runs to the door and sticks her paws under as if trying to reach and hit Mikah. In return, Mikah hisses.
Should I try to maybe put the kittens in a different room (my sisters or something) and put Sophie in the crate that's in my room, and try to reintroduce them?
I'd really love to foster again after this, but I can't do it if that means Mikah will be unhappy.
Suggestions?
