I have a 5 mos old kitten who is having a similar issue. we are feeding him organic food called Blue (in the US not sure where you are...)

I would first consult your vet before doing this: we have started giving little Edward (the Bengal cat) a very minimal amount of canned pumpkin. It has seemed to do the trick, firms up the "stuff" ...
