Re: Raw chicken and upset stomach

You might have noticed I was critiscising natures best for dogs and inadvertantly tarred natures menu with the same brush for not doing their research properly. i.e. 32% vegetable matter with 16% each of carrots and turnips along with a measley1% flax. If you ask I'll explain why this isn't good for dogs. I've since changed my mind about the product (Natures Menu) and I can't find a ready made food to surpass its quality. I can make a product my self which is better but only marginally and I would highly recommend this product to any cat owners wishing to feed their cats. I honestly can't find anything better on the market. Your cat may have got the runs because its a new food and takes time for your cats to get used to it so I wouldn't worry. Try adding the raw food little by little to your normal food and build it up and don't worry about people scare mongering you to not feed raw chicken etc to your cats. They have a stronger digestive system to dogs and I feed my 4 dogs and 3 cats raw chicken, turkey and everything else raw too. I make my own and it is frozen but defrosted the night before feeding. Wishing you all the best with the transition.
