Re: Cat Food for 8 month old cats

It sort of depends on what food you are feeding them. If it is a good quality 60%+ meat food then you probably won't need to feed quite so much but if it is your basic 4%meat and lots of rubbish fillers then for good health and grwoth you may need to feed more.

Personally (and this is my opinion only) I would never go back to feeding the rubbish stuff (4% - i.e whiskas, felix, even sheba is only 8%) and I think mine now eat lots less - one is on raw (100g a day - costs about 25p-50p a day to feed him) and the other is on hi-life and natures menu (3 pouches a day - costs about 90p a day) So the pouches are a little more expensive but so worth it for the quality of the food and I feel that I am not building up problems for the future.
