Re: What kind of litter do you use?
I really like the Catsan Clumping, virtually no dust at all, really clumps well and no smell, quite pricey but lasts. Ive also just tried one that was recommended, which was Clean n Tidy Multicat litter (frm Pets at Home) it says 99% dust free and the person plus the reviews recommending it said it had little or no dust, although mine had clouds of it!!! I called them to check if theyve had problems or changed anything and they said they hadnt but were concerned to hear this as theyve had no feedback to that extent, maybe I got a one off bag so will try it again and see, but I like Catsan Clumping best, no problems with it.
Im no expert but what i read about the clumping concern was regarding kittens who ate it out of curiousity and then it clumped in their intestine? but was a case rather than a study I think? Ive never heard that from anyone I know or have heard of, only that one article, most adult cats wouldnt eat their litter, especially clay based Id think? kittens more curious I guess! but have heard Worlds Best which is made of corn is excellent, its very pricey but apprantly it brilliant, I may try it when I can afford it!
