Well, if you make it any upstairs window then yes - three cats have done it. One did it with a whole litter of kittens, one after the other, coming in for each one through an in-only cat flap. She took the whole litter over into the allotment behind our house. I know it sounds hard to believe and I did not actually see her do it but no-one else was in the house and no other windows were open.

I saw one of my girls do the same jump when seven weeks pregnant and carrying seven kittens - now that was frightening! And I had a ten week old kitten do it, he was sitting on the windowsill calling to me when I was out in the garden and then he just jumped. I was rather surprised!

In all cases the cats were fine.
