Hi. A number of my birds have died recently – can anyone help me? I have lost several cockatiels and zebra finches in the last 10 days. They first sit on the floor, unable to fly, wobbly on their legs and within a short space of time, die. There are no other symptoms, no diarrhoea, no breathing problems. The zebra finches were indoors, the cockatiels in an aviary outside, with no contact. The vet has done autopsies and tests and said it was neither bacterial or parasitical but cannot find any other explanation. I keep other species of birds and worry they are all going to die! Has anybody experienced anything like this?
