Sandy will like swimming as he gets older. Once his adult feathers come through you probably won't get him out of the water.

Chick crumbs at this stage are the best main food for ducklings with other green stuff foods as well as earth worms and slugs (they go mad for worms!) as treats or supplements. You can also offer Koi Carp pellets as a treat. Another good idea is to grate cuttle fish bone over their feed at least once a week to help with calcium.

Ducks are happier kept in pairs or small groups. However if you have two drakes you have to watch out for fighting!
