This is my duck, Sandy. Before I had two ducks, him and Mandy, but a CAT got Mandy. I'm very sad because of it by the way
He has brown and yellow "furs", pink bill, and orange legs.
Now I have few questions and I hope you all will help me on these
- What kind of duck is mine?
- What time he will learn to swim? Because he don't seem to like water in this age
- I feed him rice, boiled frozen corns, tomatoes, greens, chick starter, and sometimes boiled egg. Am I giving him the right food? Or too much? I looked on the internet and I found out that it's ok, but my ducks seems like he don't like rice much.
- My duck's droppings are watery, is that normal?
- Lately my duck like to scratch on his face alot and lose some furs around his neck, is he OK? Should I take him to the vet or is there any medication I can give to him?
- Are they happy when we pet them?
- What if I am getting a puppy, a Golden Retriever, will they get along?
- When will he response when I call his name?
- Is it OK to clip duck's nails?
- Do you think I need to get him a company? Will he be stressed if I keep him alone?
That is a lot of questions. Please don't be mad and saying that I didn't do a research before I got them. I did, but I need "experts" opinion.
I love my duckling Sandy so much and I want to make him feel safe, happy, and comfortable with me.
