Re: House training
This can take a lot of patience but you will get there.....eventually. Every time your dog wakes up take him outside to your designated toilet area for him. Every time he eats , take him out after. Keep an eye out for signals such as sniffing the floor, circling, being unsettled. Urine smells need to be removed with washing powder as mentioned in above post.
Personally I used the newspaper method. I gradually moved it to the back door then outside. My dog picked it up quite quickly, I was lucky. He will sit by the door when he wants to go out or come and stare at one of us.
Young dogs can have occasional accidents in the house. They get easily excited and distracted by household goings on.
Lots and lots of praise when your little dog does go outside. Make a real fuss of him.
The link word idea is good. I always tell my dog "go wee wee" (when outside)and it does work.
Persistence and patience are the key.
