It seems quite common that our little friends love to lick the gravy off certain food and leave the meat - driving me crazy!! I have been trying them on chicken breast and white fish for the past few weeks. It's going down well, but I noticed that they're pooing more than usual, so thought they could do with some extra moisture. And am a little concerned they are not getting everything they need.
Anyway,tonight's experiment was chicken breast, mixed in with the Asda Select food in gravy - which they hate but love the gravy!! Again, they have licked all the gravy off and even left the chicken breast - grr!!
Anyone have any suggestions of how to make this 'gravy' ourselves?! Or better still, can you buy it?!! They dislike any food in jelly, although this gravy substance is quite jelly-like.....gosh, who would have thought feeding cats was so complicated?!
