Nina, sadly I think you are right that there may one day be a law preventing dogs being off lead, I just hope it is not in my dog owning lifetime.

I agree most pet dog owners do not have the level of control required to call an entire dog away from a bitch in season, however it is possible, my entire males will do it, and so will the males of my dog trainer friends. the majority of people with bitches in season would not take them to the local dog field, but admittedly there is always one.

I don't think we will ever agree on this one, I am as pro off lead time as you are anti.
