Re: worming

Drontal tackles the main wormes present in the uk- tapeworm and roundworm as well as whipworm and hookworm. It is non prescription and can be given to puppies from 8 weeks. 1 tablet to be given per 10kg bodyweight every three months so easy to remember.

Panacur tackles Tapeworm and Roundworm and also tackles Lungworm which is a problem in some areas of the uk. Your vet would have informed you if it was a problem in your area. Panacur has the option of giving in paste, granule or liquid format. Again it is non prescription.

Milbemax tackles all worms except lungworm. It is required if you are planning to take your pet abroad or for treating for heartworm. It is prescription only so must be obtained from the vet or on prescription.
