So please can we get the useful info from people about:

1) good places to look for info - apart from 'the book of the bitch' which if I am any judge is the one everyone recommends and everyone has rushed out to buy Goggle Pregnant canine, dog pregnancy symptoms

2) recommended things to buy for if we do have puppies on the way, I've seen huge long lists but really what do you need for a normal (we all hope) whelping http://www.whelping-boxes.net/acatalog/welpi_whelping_boxes__whelping_box.html i brought the kit from here and i used it all but the gloves, aprons and the bottle.

3) when people think the best day for a scan is - seem there is only a small window before you are too latei was told bewteen day 28 and 35 we went on day 28 and saw 6

4) signs and symptoms while we are waiting to see if we are and then any other signs we need to watch for both if it is going right and also - sadly - if it is going wrong Pink nipples, enlarged nipples, swallon vulva, again google canine pregnancy symptoms

5) thing we need to do for the bitch before whelping - like worming etc my vet recommened wormin full dose on day 50 as she things every day from day 40 until 2 days after is too much. and flea before they go to stud

6) anything else you experts recommend for us newbies at this game

Mentors are a good idea but I am saving mine up until I really need them - these are the questions we think of as we go along

Many thanks in advance from all of us who have been reading the books and are now waiting
