Much as I can tell that you love your dog very much, and he is obviously very special to you, you really could do with an independent assessement that he is of sufficient quality to be worth breeding from. Cavaliers are a lovely little breed, but they are a breed that are beset with health issues and before any Cavalier is bred from, it should be tested for these problems, which include heart, eyes and the awful condition syringomyelia. These tests will cost you a fair bit of money - but it is money that needs to be spent if he is to be bred from. Breeders can be deemed to be liable if they produce puppies that develop problems that could have been avoided by using health tested parents. As I am sure you can see, responsible dog breeding is not to be taken lightly

If the breeder that your purchased your special boy from has carried out these tests on his parents, then I would advise you to go back to him/her and see if you could get a close relative.
