Re: Siamese inner-eye question

One of my cats (not Siamese though) has had this for the past couple of weeks. Totally freaked me out at first! Took her to the vets and she had conjuctivitus. We had antibiotic drops, her eye seems better, less sore, but her 'haws' are still up slightly. She has also developed a slight clear discharge.

Her sister has been diagnosed with a blocked tear duct, and after trying various eye drops and ointments, the vet advised that if it is not causing her distress to leave it as it is, just clean it and keep an eye on it (pardon the pun!). Her discharge has stained the side of her nose, she looks like she has a black eye!! They are both white too so any mark on them is obvious.

I think Rossi has been a bit down lately too, which could also be another reason for the 'haws'. Casey has been lying in Rossi's favourite spot for the last few weeks, and we have noticed a severe case of the pouts!!! Who needs kids eh?!
