I have started giving them turkey breast and white fish, 'human food' which I cook myself, and they love it! They also love salmon and tuna, but not the cat variety
I am getting really fed up as I am at my whits end! All I want is a good quality food they will stick to. My little Rossi is losing weight, she has conjunctivis at the mo and is down in the dumps, so they are being fed 'nice' food.
I think I will just buy a high meat content food and stick with it. Thing is, I can't bear the thought of them not eating as they don't like it, although lots of people advise to keep feeding it, they will eat it eventually. Argh!!! Thank god they still like their dry food!

i was advised that Cass would eventually give in and eat the wet food when we tried it but she stood her ground and would absolutely rather starve than eat it - so now it is white fish (human food) every morning and evening - maybe we shouldn't have given in but they both love it, we have never seen them so happy and healthy looking (although Syd is really prone to cystitus but that is a whole other story)
The only thing i can say is that i will do whatever it takes to make sure they are happy and healthy and if that means they eat 'human food' - ie fish - for the rest of their lives, then i will happily give it to them (they also still like their dry food)
Fussy things aren't they?
