i have not had this problem with my kittens but yes the breeder is right,i have read up on this and i think it is a problem that can affect pedigree cats, but if mine had this i would get a vet to have a look at him before selling, and maybe have a letter from the vet to show new owners that he has been checked and all is fine, also i would not sell him for full price.
