I agree the press coverage is always more sensationalised with certain breeds.

Reading the story, it sounds like the original owners were having difficulties with the dog and handed over to the current owner - why on earth was it left around a small child with food?
And why did it take a year to sort out, with the dog out and about as normal?

Just proves any dog can cause terrible damage. I never allow my dogs around small kids with food and Lilly only weighs 7lb.
