Re: Worming Tablets

Since writing my response I’ve been cursed! It was a timely post as we were due to give Tilly the last course of her worming treatment last night. Did the usual which has worked the last two times of crushing up in her wet food but the last tablet was different to the other previous two and had a really strong smell. Needless to say, she smelt it in her food a mile off and now won’t touch it. This morning it was still there, I mixed in some fresh meat and gave her a handful of dry food but I’ve left that with her today in the hope that she will get hungry and eventually eat it. If she’s still not touched it when I get home from work I’ll have to give her fresh food and try another tablet the old fashioned way – she hates being restrained to put her collar on and off so I’m sure pushing a tablet down her throat will send her into crazy mode; our little girl is excellent at holding a grudge and making you feel bad for days!
