Re: Beware Of Internet Scammers

Ok i know i was dumb, but i got caught, and paid, and was left with a massive phone bill!!

My mum loves small dogs, after years of having: gsd, boxers, dob, ect..
And she kept saying to me that her dream one day is to own a little pug, or chi. Have you seen the price these days looking at £1000 easy.

So while we was saving, making sure we have enough for everything, buying, vets, training ect.. I came arcoss an ad on gumtree:-

"Chi pups for rehoming due, to owner not being able to look after them and work"

Looked at the advert and everything sounded great, nothing like a scam, no spelling mistakes, freindly people seem to really know the breed ect, So i emailed them and they said, that although "the husband" was in bristol working, his wife had the dogs in ireland, and i would need to pay the shipping fee, as he would not be able to get back to ireland for 3 weeks.

He sent me emails confirming the dog was real, pics with date at the bottom, and video links and i see the dog playing with its mother and other pups.

Anyways to cut a long story short, I was scammed hard!

With paying over £500 for the dog, another £100.00 for the shipping fee, and then i noticed the mistakes rolling in, dog dog never showed, and so how they was calling me and it was charging my landland everytime i answered.

I went to the police, and they are still dealing with it, but the dogs WAS real.

Not all of these scammers will drop themself in it, Some are better, then good.
Now i'm looking for a real breeder, that i can visit, check the dogs over ect..
Never again will i fall for it!
