depressed cat

As ive told you all, my Diesel was castrated on Friday, i expected him to be a little different for a couple of days, but hes much worse than i thought. i was told to keep him in for 2-3 days, and i let him out for a wander in the garden this morning, but he seems so low, hes not jumping as well as he used too, and he usually loves to play, and loves his cuddles and attention, but hes just been sat at our feet watching us or laying on his own to sleep (usually layed with me)

He is not the same cat. Is this normal? hes making me feel down, im ment to be happy on my birthday!
