Bear is a English springer x Malamute and was the result of an accidental mating, he's 14 weeks old and will be 15 this Monday. In truth he is not my dog and actually belongs to my mother, she was technically bullied into keeping him after he was return to us for being a puppy.

Many of you have seen his father's videos, his dad has a high play drive and currently knows over 40 different tricks and commands and excels at detection. His mother has a high prey drive and food drive which she will happily work for and has proved her intelligence.

Bear has gained both parents intelligence, he has proven he can find things including dead birds, treats and a ball. He loves playing with a ball and also loves tug of war, but most of all loves his food and his learning ability is very high and has taught himself sit, wait and paw just through watching his parents.

My mum works long hours and although she has time for a dog she does not have time for a puppy or the time to mental stimulate him like he will need. I feel that he will make a good working dog and would rather he go to someone who will be able to challenge his mind. I myself can not take him as I own both parents and will be moving to America early next year.

We was looking into donating him to the police but found they do not take any dogs under 8 months. He's a very smart puppy and will do well in whatever he's taught.

Bear is like his name sake, he's strong, fearless but he's also very friendly and very sociable. My only warning is that he will NOT be spaniel sized, he's growing the same size as a malamute puppy would.

Please if you know anybody that would be interested in a highly intelligent puppy who's a real sweetheart, contact me.

Thank you

I will try to get more photo's and videos of him, both parents can be seen also. Please note he will not just go to a pet home where he may learn a few tricks and sometimes may go dog training classes, he will need a home where he will be worked.

What a really difficult decision. İ wish you every success in locating a loving home with the right environment for BEAR! Good Luck!
