Most dogs learn the equipment in the basic six to eight week course, apart from the weave that usually takes a good bit longer. The hard part is you getting the hang of where to position yourself and how to guide the dog using body movements. Before you start, get the dog to walk happily on either side of you, good recall and a wait helps a lot too. What sort of dog is it?
