I wash mine in the bathroom sink and use toilet paper to dry... not very eco friendly but never mind I recycle everything else so I'm aloud one naughty thing. It takes me an hour or two to clean my cages out. I have to do the rotastak once a week and the tank every 2-3. I have 2 gerbils and 2 hamsters but they both have really big cages.
