hey there, im hew here, and thought id show you some pics of my lovely tortoise Chiyoko (name means "Child of a Thousand Generations"). ive had her for about 3 or 4 years now, after buying her from a friends shop. i know she was young when i got her, but the guy didnt know her exact age (a year or under i think). she lives in a vivarium under my desk, that is freely accessible for her, and she has the full run of my bedroom when she wants to. she spends warm summer days out in the garden with lots of fresh vegitation in a large enclosure. the object in the pic is a 5p coin, for size comparison
i really do love her to pieces ^^
edit: one question i forgot to ask. how well do tortoises mix with others? Chiyoko is obviously established with me, but would i ever be able to add another with her? same species? different species? same age? how well do they mix? thanks
