Re: Help: Agression towards other dogs

Hi GIllie

Since Candy became pregnant she has become dog aggressive to unknown dogs!

she doesn't go of her lead at the moment and is on a 3 metre one i am always looking around me for other dogs when i see one i recall her in click the lead so she can't go from my side and walk.

She will slow down look and then stop i will then step bac and BLOCK her view all is fine unless the dog comes up to use. she is fine with some but fur goes up and she growls with others.

Last one was 2 rotties and a black dog i think it was a lab x. she was fine with the golden that went past us she growled at a spanial too.

IF the dog approches us i stand between them if i can't stand between i put candy between my legs and hold her there. the black lab x i took hold of his collar after asking his owner to remove him and she didn't and i stood there with candy and this other dog by the collars me between. the lab x wanted toplay candy did not. in the end i got the other owner to come and get him and she moaned about candy's behaviour i then pointed out AGAIN that candy was pregnant and has been on her toes since and thats the reason i aksed her to get him she is fine with some but not other dogs.

Saying that i have found its the male dogs she seems more aggressive towards.

Good luck
x
