Sad news

With total sadness, we would like to inform everyone who sent us messages of support during our difficult time (especially Soph and Jo) that we had to have Mia PTS on Friday gone.

Over the previous 24hrs she seemd to deteriorate even more, for the first time in days, during the night she tried to jump up onto the bed and couldn't make it (we saw this as her wanting to be with us one last time). By the morning, she couldn't walk, wouldn't drink and was so tired.

We knew the time was right and had to make the hardest decision ever. When she went, she was in Leanne's arms.

We are both so devastated and finding it so hard to come to terms with it....it's like losing a close member of our immediate family (she was never just a cat to us, she was a litlle person, she was always our baby). There's now an emptiness in our lives and our house is so quiet without her. We so hope that time truly is a great healer.

Kindest Regards

Leanne & Patrick Salmon
