Re: constipation and swelling
Please don't squeeze it! You could cause some damage if you do not what you are doing.
If you are concerned about your kitten you should take it to see the vets to be sure there isn't any thing sinister going on. Make sure kitty is on a healthy kitten food, has lots of water and has been wormed. Don't feed kitty any people food or milk(including cat milk for a little while), cows milk is never good for kitties. Cut out kitty's treats and just keep it minimal, food/water until you can speak to a vets. If this has been going on for more than three days I would suggest you ring an out of hours vets ASAP.
If it's not been wormed speak to your vets first before worming as if there is a intestinal problem they will want you to wait for the diarrhea or constipation to stop before worming as this can exacerbate the situation. Your vet will be able to help you work out if it's all from worms or if it's an irritated tum. They will also be able to advise you on how to reduce the constipation and ease the discomfort of the lil kitty. It's also a possibility that kitty has swallowed something and this should be checked by your vets. All the best.
