alot of exercise and working with them on a daily basis should calm him down, the main thing is to get the disipline in so that you can control them when they are being nutters.
it may be a good idea if the kids are confident to let the older ones train him at the classes or at home so that they learn to teach a dog and the dog learns to listen to them.
if you have an agility class near you as well, that may be an idea, as it means they have to learn and do exercise at the same time(some things on an agility course are not really suitable for dogs under 6 months) and it really is alot of fun.
