We feed him the minimum suggested, rarely give him ANY treats except the odd puppy bonio as he has such a sensitive tum, and he still had those few days now and then of sloppy poo. I spoke to the vet and he suggested adding bran to his food, so I now suppliment his 2 daily meals with a handful of bran (normal bran from supermark). This does seem to have done the trick, although I feel its a shame that he has to have that added just to have a normal poo!! I'd like to feed RAW as I have heard so many great things about it, but its just not practical at the moment, so I am changing him over to Skinners which I have heard people raving about, and as it is a working dog food it is around £17 for 15kg (Arden Grange around £40 )... Hopefully if Mummy's pocket feels better so will Zach's belly!!

I have no idea about this bile thing though, maybe its worth taking him to the vets just in case? Could have a nice chat about it and clear your mind of worry
Thanks Louise (my personal guru!!), that sounds very similar. I'll have a try at the bran and keep my fingers crossed. I know I'm over sensitive anyway about how Zach's dietary functions are because of how we lost our last dog (we didn't know there was anything wrong until sloppy poos during the night and within 3 days he collapsed and died due to a stomach tumour which had caused a ruptured spleen - no other symptoms) and Zach is my first pup, so I'm a bit of an anxious first time mum!!
Once again, thanks for taking the time to give me advice - much appreciated.
