Re: very very long story (ring worm)
So sorry for you this happened but we had a situation with ring worm before christmas and the breeder informed the gccf as soon as she found out and had all cats tested was very helpful and offered to cover all costs. These thigns do happen but it does not sound like the breeder is being very helpful ! She gave us the option of her treating them etc but once they were 13 weeks we took them as our vet said its easier to get rid of if there are not many cats around plus i was dying to get them home ring worm or not !!
Anyway to treat ours we had 1/4 griseofulvin drug a day which our dog had too in case, we isolated them in spare room for 6 weeks and now have them on program once a month wormer which is supposed to be a mild preventative. There was a cream too which is at home i can send you the name of later to treat the scaly bits !
I remember thinking it was the end of the world when we found out our babies had something wrong but afte the 6 weeks and a full sterilising of our house we have had no signs of it AT ALL. I read online alot that it stays dormant etc and had complete panics they would be shut up for months ! It does clear up very quickly, if you need any more advice with treatment let me know i became an expert ha ha !!
Best of luck with getting rid of it ! On the up side we had the most laid back kittens in the world after pulling around with cream and pills they let you do anything to them !
