Re: very very long story (ring worm)

Thank you all for your replies.....a few quick questions if anyone can help?.....

1/ Can ringworm only be present in a few cats of a multi-cat household? (the breeder said that as 5 of her 18 cats were tested and the results were negative for those 5 there is no way that some of remainining cats could have ringworm....its either all or none)
2/ would a vet take take samples from a few cats and culture all of the samples together in the same dish? (breeder says this is what happened and so she does not have individual test results for the 5 that were tested just a test result for the main cat)
3/ Is ringworm present all over the cat? (breeder says a sample was taken from my kittens right ear and it came back negative. My argument was that the ringwrom was present on the cats left ear and her right was fine hence why my vet took a sample from her left of the actual scabs etc which was positive for ringworm, but the breeder says that it doesn't matter where the samples from as if she has ringworm it will show up everywhere)
