Always beware of pet insurance. I had a dog covered with Pet Plan. The 1st year she got kennel cough, which they paid out for, but when we came to renew she wasn't covered for kennel cough, then she got conjunctivitis, again they paid out for, but when we came to renew again, she wasn't covered for keenel cough and conjunctivitis - at this point we realised by the time she reached old age, she wouldn't be covered for anything, so we cancelled the insurance and put the premiums in a seperate account. She lived to a ripe old age and never needed the set aside money, so we were able to have her cremated and were left with change!
