I would think he'd need more like 3 pouches per day - at least! Kittens do eat a lot, probably more than adults. You just need to spread it over 3-4 meals.
i must admit I just feed my cats when they look hungry (i.e. are crowding round the empty food bowls and yelling at me!)

Today for instance, he has had 1.5 pouches of Hi-Life kitten, 0.5 of a tin of Applaws kitten and a small handful of Orijen dry food. Does this sound enough do you think? He wolfs the wet food down in seconds though only eats the dry when he gets really hungry!
