It is a shame the wrong element got their hands on this fab breed. I was walking the rabble the other night and met a lady with 2 dali's. I shouted over that mine were friendly cos her's were off lead too and she looked a bit panicked (most people panic seeing my pack running riot tbh!!).Anyway they all had a play and a woof and the woman got mugged by Cooper (staffy x jrt) who did his usual grinning and wobbling and told her how much he loved a cuddle!! She was on the ground with him giving him kisses and cuddles and asked me what breed he was. I said he's a staffy x jrt...she jumped up and said 'omg those are the devil dogs aren't they' I laughed and said does he look evil to you? She was so pleased to have met Cooper because she'd believed what she'd read and only ever seen them on lead in our nearest town with the certain types that like their dogs to look 'hard' My little wonky staffy cross managed to change her mind completely and she went away thinking positively about them.
