Re: Could I have opinions please?
After 3 nights of getting up every hour or so with Rocky where he would bark like a seal and bring the house down, we brought the crate into our room and hey presto not only did he stop barking at night, he started being OK with being in the crate during the day as well................ he now sleeps outside our bedroom in the hallway (still in his crate) and he is fine.
By about 4 months we started letting his stay in the hall/kitchen when we went out (he wouldn't stay in a bigger crate that we bought to give him more room in the daytime) and he's been fine, no chewing, or mess!
If you plan to keep him in the kitchen at night eventually, give him until he's toilet trained at night then slowly start moving the crate nearer and nearer the kitchen at night and he should be fine.
