Re: favourite treats for dogs not motivated by food

Livery cake!! Tried to make it once...nearly had to move out of my house cos of the stench!!! Dogs were extreamly happy and loved it but I'm not sure I could do it again (I'm vegi so find cooking meat smell extreamly hard to deal with!!)

I find the best thing is cheese, all of mine love it and it's easy to carry with you. Also sausages, I just buy the cheap one's from the supermarket and cook a big pile then chop them up. They are useful for distance recall cos they can get a whiff and come running!!

Fish4dogs do some really good training treats, might be worth trying them?
