Im sure she will be fine, the vet usually offers a collar but they don't always need it. Is she getting speyed on her flank or tummy, I find there can be more post op issues with scar tissue with a tummy op.They recover really quick with a flank spey and usually need less of a shave, just my humble opinion! I was also advised to use newspaper torn up as litter for straight afterwards! I went back to my normal litter after a couple of days!
