my 22 week old kitten is being speyed this Friday! roughly how long will she take to 'recuperate' & is there anything we need to do/know for when she comes home?

i have a fear that she will be pulling out her stitches when she gets home - I am slightly squeamish at the thought! will she be given a collar to wear?
