Hello folks. I'm very glad to have found you all! We are in the process of adopting a staffie cross. We are very excited! I'm sure I'm going to be asking for lots of advice and support so get used to me!

We are just waiting for the home visit next week and then we get to bring her home a week from tomorrow. We are busy dog-proofing the house. Anyone here had any experience of rescue centre home visits and what to expect? Should I bake a cake to make sure they like us?

Also if anyone has any recommendations of the best online pet supplies places I would be super happy. I'll sniff around the forum there are sure to be some tips here I can start using already.

I see some of you are Cesar Millan fans, we are too! It's great at the moment as Sky3 have the new series and NatGeo Wild are showing the first series again.
