Both my sheps jump when anyone comes in they are 18mths old, and bark but they dont bite or anything just get really excited, after me holding them for 5 mins they calm down and will go and smell the visitor then lie down , and are fine , they even do this with my oh when he gets up in a morning as he gets up later than me, im trying to stop them but its going very slow.
