I am a dog groomer and yes know of the Furminator. It is a more usable version of the shedding blade. It is fantastic to remove dead hair in short coated breeds like labradors, pugs and smooth coats. It doesnt work on the undercoat, you need a rake for that it works on short coats only - no particularly useful for golden retrievers or long hair as it will break the coat.

Worth every penny dependant on your breed.........
