Rescue Remedies is on a distinguished road
Exclamation Baisley, 2 year old Staffie needs home!

Baisley is approx 2 years old and learning to smile. He is now safe having hopped about moving through homes. He came from Yorkshire through a busy council pound being 'just another stray Staffie' He came in with horrendous mange which has now been treated but has left a few areas where his fur seems thinner. He has recently been fostered within a family with children and is superb with people. Even though he still is in rescue .. he has a sense that there is light at the end of his kennel. He is usually fine with bitches and in fact probably could live with a bitch; but he would need careful intro to a male ... but then he is still entire (Neutered this week) so naturally will be more assertive if his background hasn't focused on his needs and socialisation skills. We think he is doing very well considering his previous skin condition probably meant his was kept away from dogs and must have caused him a lot of suffering. He is out the other side now and has light at the end of his kennel!

Yes Baisley as a young Staffie who has had few opportunities, is boisterous currently but seeing him run off that energy and see how he begins to calm from his imposed kennel stress, in the right experienced hands, is going to be that 'truly loved boy'. A real character in the making. We are looking for a lower density dog area than London and a medium to large secure garden to ensure he has aide to expression to his energy, with fun games as part of his routine. Observing him in the exercise area of the kennels you see how much a garden will feature in meeting his needs. Baisley despite being in rescue for sometime has now come to us and we are busy sorting his physical needs out this week with neutering; chipping and the vaccination process started. Baisley is typical of a young Staffie in rescue who needs time to settle; utilise his keen energies in constructive ways centred around his needs supported by routine and training. We love him .. he is super and oh so loyal.
