Depends on the cat, you could trial it. I used to take Poppy to shows with Theo. They slept together inside got on really well at all times, until you put them in a pen together. Poppy seemed to think the travesty was Theo's fault and would swear at him for the first 10 mins or so, but she did settle. She was the only one who behaved like that though, everyone else travels together quite happily.

There is no second guessing them really, the only way to know is to try it.
