Hi and welcome - I'm still a newbie too, I dont know if this will help but there is a Bullmasitff who lives four doors away from me, with a family with very small children. He is a total gem his owner walks with me and my two. He has a lovely gentle nature not only towards my two but also to any others we meet. He is also quite found of small children like my rottie - great fuss potentail. Maybe Boris is just a really great dog but from what I have read on the breed he seems to be the norm. Only thing I would say is that they are really big dogs so correct training is a must. I totally agree with everyone esle do you research before you buy. Hope this waffle helps!!
