My dogs are toy poodles and Inca has a very low pain threshold so I worried for a while about having her microchipped. At her first injection, she had to go to the emergency vet because she became partially paralysed from the needle. I had to have her done because we were sending some blood work to America. Neither poodle showed any signs of pain and little drama queen Inca, didn't notice the needle going in.
