I was interested to know how people felt about dew claws, or fore claws as some refer to them.

Do you think they should be removed or left alone?

Do you think this should be done by a vet at 1 to 2 days old or could an experienced breeder do it?

Do you think firmly attached ones should be left but the losse kind be removed?

any thoughts welcome

my border collie still has dew claws on his back legs as the breeder didnt believe in having them removed, he suffers no problems with them at the moment, however if he did I would have them removed.
