I would get local advice about letting her out - maybe contact the Animal Shelter. It may be that it is too dangerous - are coyotes nocturnal? If so, maybe let out during daylight hours only????

If you are in an apartment, how will she gain access to outdoors? And, more importantly, how will she be able to get back in?

Is it at all possible to build a secure cat run? I have seen on the web tunnels from first floor apartments to the garden run.
