But my opinions ons this are - if we each think our own dog is the best, most fabulous dog in the whole world - dispite it's breed there are about a million other people thinking the same!

Breeding IS NOT an easy way to make money.

Each litter breed could potentially be reponsible for the breeding of thousands of other dogs (think about it a litter of 8 each breeding 3 times producing 8 and so it goes on).

EVERYTIME we buy a puppy from a Back street breeder OR a puppy farmer - because we feel sorry for it - that is just creating misery for another pup!

My heart breaks with all this!!!

THAT said - I purchased my last bitch after checking the breeding lines very carefully with a fine comb. IF ever I did decide to have a litter - I would have a strict no breeding contract without my knowledge for any of the pups, also I would insist on the best insurance be taken , I would also take full responsiblity for the FULL litter whereby they could NOT be resold of rehomed but be returned to me. The price would be high - DOUBT - i'd sell any so guess I sharn't be breeding!
